What is Smooth beam?
The Smoothbeam Laser is a new, non-invasive way to treat
wrinkles. This
laser cools the skin and then delivers a laser beam which
targets and heats the collagen in the upper dermis while
protecting the outer skin.
What conditions can be treated with
Smooth beam?
Wrinkles and fine lines will be reduced as new collagen
grows and plumps up the skin.
“Crow’s Feet” and “Lipstick Lines” respond
well. Acne scars
are also diminished in this way. Recently the Smooth
Beam Laser has received FDA approval for treating acne
lesions.
How long will it take?
A typical treatment takes about 15 to 30 minutes.
In most cases results can be achieved in 3 to 4
treatments spaced 4 to 6 weeks apart.
Are there any side effects?
There is very little risk with Smoothbeam treatments.
Slight, temporary redness or swelling may occur.
With more aggressive treatment some temporary
pigmentation changes can occur.
