Our Blu-U acne light therapy is effective, painless, and has no known side effects. This non-invasive and pain free procedure acts by killing acne causing bacteria. Full face and neck treatments, taking approximately 15 minutes each are done twice weekly for 4 weeks.

SmoothBeam acne laser treatment is very effective in treatment of active acne on the face and back. It consists of 3 -4 15 minute sessions done at 3 - 4 week intervals. A topical anesthetic is very effective in relieving any discomfort. After treatment the skin is red but, typically returns to normal within 2 to 4 hours. SmoothBeam laser treatment should not be performed on tanned or darkly pigmented skin. Consultation is complementary, and a test area or first treatment can be done on the same day.
Smoothbeam does not address the residual redness or brown pigmentation left on the skin after an acne lesion has healed. For this condition Intense Pulsed Light (IPL, Photofacial) is recommended.
