Freedom of Expression….

You’ve probably heard a lot about BOTOX® Cosmetic. In fact, it’s been the #1 medical cosmetic procedure for years.

It certainly is at LaserCare where we have injected thousands of patients. Our nurses and physicians all have advanced injector training and more than 10 years experience in injecting Botox and dermal fillers.

In just days, Botox Cosmetic can smooth and diminish frown lines between the eyebrows (the “11’s”), horizontal forehead wrinkles, crow’s feet around the eyes, and wrinkles on the upper lip.

Most of our clients want to maintain their “freedom of expression” and do so while achieving natural looking, pleasing results. Take your expression from “tired”, “angry”, and “sullen” to “Rested”, “Bright”, and “Youthful!”

Botox Cosmetic can also be used to elevate the brows, resulting in a more youthful appearance without surgery!  It is extremely safe, effective and simple, with very little discomfort and no down time. Fabulous results last 3 to 6 months.

We also love BOTOX for treatment of hyperhydrosis. A few simple, painless injections can stop excessive underarm sweating for up to 6 months or more! Back to Top

Juvéderm - Before & AfterAs we age, our skin changes. Over time, the natural volume of youthful skin begins to diminish as wrinkles and folds form. You don’t have to just sit back and let it happen!

Injectible fillers, like Juvéderm and Restylane, are used to restore volume and fullness to the skin, and smooth away facial wrinkles and folds. Facial Fillers produce very pleasing enhancements, most commonly for the lower face: “laugh lines,” “smile lines” or “parentheses”, or “marionette lines”, cheeks, chin and “tear trough” (fill the sunken in area under the eyes. Lip injections are popular to restore lip volume lost over time or to enhance lips that have always been thin or uneven. The result is a smooth, natural look and feel.

What is a Juvéderm treatment like?
The Juvéderm procedure is short and simple, lasting approximately 15 to 20 minutes. It is very comfortable due to anesthetic included in the product. Juvedérm is eased under the skin by a fine needle to fill the soft tissue of the dermis, the dense layer of skin beneath the outermost layer of skin. This adds volume and subsequently decreases the appearance of wrinkles. Results are immediate, with minimal post-procedural swelling.

Who are the best candidates for Juvéderm?
Juvéderm is most commonly used on patients with moderate to severe facial wrinkles and folds. It can also be used in lip augmentation as well as facial contour reshaping. Juvéderm is most effective for treating wrinkles and folds on the lower third of the face, such as the nasolabial folds or “smile lines.” Studies have shown superior results of JuvédermTM compared to collagen-based dermal fillers, as well as the highest levels of patient satisfaction.

How many Juvéderm treatments will I need?
Most patients require only one treatment for optimal smoothing of the skin, with results lasting up to 1 year as the filler is gradually absorbed into the body.

Is Juvéderm FDA approved?
Yes, Juvéderm received FDA approval in 2006 for the correction of moderate to severe facial wrinkles and folds (such as nasolabial folds). Additionally, Juvéderm is the first FDA-approved hyaluronic dermal filler proven safe and effective for ethnic skin. Back to Top

Belotero Balance

This is the newest filler her in the US.  It is widely used in Europe and Loretta Andreotolla  has gone to Italy for advanced training.  Belotero has certain advantages over other hyaluronic acid-based fillers due to its ability to treat superficial or fine lines. Some other hyaluronic acid fillers can cause a bluish hue if they are injected too superficially, as light reflected through the skin may bounce off the clear filler. This does not happen with Belotero and because of this advantage, it is ideal to fill crow’s feet, lip lines and other superficial fine lines.  This is not a volumizing filler, but a line chaser good for softer areas with lines needing smoothing out.
